A Life of Memories
Life is precious. None of us can beat time. Whilst receiving treatment for cancer, Liz met some incredible people, too many of them were facing an untimely end of life. It gave her the idea to create a very special portrait. The stage is set by surrounding the person with items that tell the story of their life - a wedding photo, anniversary clock, knitting needles, ballet shoes, decor, their favourite books, even a favourite, moderate piece of furniture.
How it works:
Step 1: Contact us to book your session. Session cost is £80 (£50 non refundable booking fee on booking, £30 balance to be paid 48 hours before the session). Payment of a booking fee means that you have agreed to our terms and conditions. We will ask you to describe the person/couple, what makes them special and a bit about their life.
Once booked, we will also send you a link to the print packages and wall art available to you so that you can start to visualise the beautiful end product in its intended space.
Step 2: The items will need to be delivered (by arrangement) a day or two before the session so that the set can be constructed before the photoshoot.
Your special person/ couple will be welcomed into the session and given time to share stories about their life objects if they wish. We want them to feel special. The photography is quick because all the preparation has been done. We will take enough photographs to be happy with the facial expressions, but they will not need to move into different places.
Step 3: At the end of the session, you will need to take the items with you. After your session the photographs will receive careful hand editing and retouching. You will be invited back for a viewing and ordering session. You will be able to look at samples of our carefully chosen art products and we can discuss the options that suit you, your decor or the best gift options for others. There will be no hard sell because it isn't in our nature.
The aim is to create a piece of fine art wall art as a beautiful reminder of a special life well lived.
