Capture your dreams, forever...

A simple fact is that not all photography is equal. This is particularly true for equine and dog photography. For most people an equine photoshoot is a very special and exceptional event. You deserve beautiful, timeless and quality images that will last a lifetime.

It is so important to find a photographer whose work you love and won't age. The images should be much more than "good", they should take your breath away for years to come, as you relive the moment, soak in the beauty of your horse and your bond with them.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a maximum number of horses/dogs?

2 hours is usually enough for a horse and rider with up to 3 changes of clothes and a short dog session. However, I do not like to rush sessions so I allow for up to 3 especially if the weather is tough on the horse and rider. If you wish to have an additional shoot with a second horse then we can increase the photoshoot at a cost of £50 per hour.

What about the location?

Most clients choose to be photographed around where their horse is stabled. The more variety of backdrops there are, the better. Pathways, overgrown field edges, crops (with permission to go in the tram lines only) and woods are all interesting areas. Ideally there will be a stable or barn - some building with a roof which will allow darker portraits. A barn with hay bales is a real bonus. It can be worth asking around if your location is limited, but we must have permission!

What preparations should I make?

Once booked in, we will send you a guide to help you get the most out of your special photoshoot. It will cover animal and human preparations, health and safety and a lot more.

Does my horse/dog need to be trained?

Any animals need to be under control, but we do understand that they are animals. Safety is paramount and we will ask you to use leading reins and leads if necessary. We can remove leads or guiding hands in the editing stage if necessary.

What is the timescale for payments?

The non refundable booking fee of £95 is paid at the time of booking. The balance of £200 must be paid 48 hours before the photoshoot for us to attend. The payment also confirms that you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

All print products must be paid for before they are ordered. This will be at the viewing and ordering session after your photographs have been hand edited. We can accept BACS and credit/ debit card payments at that session.
